Hi! I'm Chelsea. I'm a Brooklyn-based writer and career coach.

After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Maryland, I've spent the past 7 years figuring out how I can best use my talents-- creativity, curiosity, writing, and coaching-- to help others. I've worked as a freelance career consultant and writer; a mental health counselor; a creative writing program manager; and a non-profit coach and trainer. I love meeting people, learning their stories and strengths, and using my skills to help them reach their dreams.

Fueled by my passions for career advice and my local community, I'm a contributing writer at, named one of the top 5 career advice sites for women by Forbes, and at, a hyper-local news and events site.

I'm also a poet and flash fiction writer, and have read and performed my work at numerous venues throughout New York City, including for the NYC Poetry BrothelNYC Poetry Festival, and the Brooklyn Lit Crawl.  I co-founded and manage the Eclipsed Reading Series, a quarterly reading series in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn that highlights the work of local writers who refuse to be cast into shadow.

I'm excited to get to know you!
